Daniel Sawchyn
Head Coach

"Born and raised in Victoria, BC - Daniel played for the Victoria Golden Tide collegiate program and for the Victoria HarbourCats in 2021-2022. ​A product of the Victoria Mariners of the BC Premier Baseball League. He was speedy outfielder from Victoria that played for the Premier Mariners. He brought speed, and leadership to the fall roster. A player that works hard every day to improve and who will easily improve on his already elite game."

Tyler Burton
Head Coach

"Tyler Burton, is a 3rd year Business student at the University of Victoria and a collegiate baseball player for the Victoria Golden Tide, dedicated to mentoring youth in sports, education, and community engagement. Drawing from his experience as a high-performance student-athlete in both baseball and hockey, he provides private baseball lessons and academic tutoring to nurture young athletes’ development on and off the field. His commitment goes beyond sports, as he aspires to inspire and guide students in Victoria towards personal growth and making a positive impact in our community."

Nick Lee
Head Coach

"Nick Lee grew up in Victoria playing baseball at Beacon Hill Little league, and then the Victoria Mariners from 2014-2017.  From 2017-2019 Nick went on to play 2 years at Okanagan College as a pitcher holding the 3rd lowest season ERA at 1.25.  In 2022 Nick joined the Victoria Golden Tide as a two way player batting .344 with a 3.00 ERA. Later Nick joined the Victoria HarbourCats for the summer batting .600 with 2 HRs."

Jaxson Smith Peterson
Head Coach

"Jaxson grew up in Victoria, specifically on the baseball diamonds of Victoria. Jaxson is an alumni of Lambrick Park Secondary and the Victoria Mariners organization. He led the Mariners' pitching staff with a 2.1 ERA and was named the Premier team's pitcher of the year. After graduation, He played one season at NJCAA Minnesota West, where he again led the pitching staff and was named team captain as a freshman. Jaxson also pitched with the Victoria HarbourCats and The North Baseball during the 2022 summer season. Jaxson is a Driveline Certified Youth Baseball Development Coach and is spending the fall season as an assistant coach with the Victoria Mariners."
